On June 26, 2026 at 5:30pm at the Florence A. Williams Public Library, SEDI-CASE: St. Croix Heritage House, the Department of Planning and Natural Resource (DPNR), and its Division of Library, Archives and Museums (DLAM), and along with other community organizations and stakeholders to collectively, in a public private partnership (PPP) collaboration for a Pre-America250 special presentation and reception announcement event honoring Alexander Hamilton, an American Founding Father from St. Croix. We are cordially inviting the general public and all community stakeholders to attend and participate in the celebration, development, rollout and implementation of St. Croix being designated as a National Heritage Area! National Heritage Areas are places where historic, cultural, and natural resources combine to form cohesive, nationally important landscapes. Unlike national parks, National Heritage Areas are large lived-in landscapes. Consequently, National Heritage Area entities collaborate with communities to determine how to make heritage relevant to local interests and needs.
