The resulting letter would inspire the residents of the island where Hamilton lived to pool their money for a scholarship to send him to the future United States of America … and into the history books.  US Treasury creation of the Opportunity Zone/Fund will be an invaluable asset resource in assisting in the rebuilding of the USVI in the aftermath and disaster recovery  of the unprecedented  hurricanes Irma and Maria.
